Examen de l’image “Evénements mondiaux”

Un tableau composé de différents éléments qui semblent n’avoir rien à voir les uns avec les autres et pourtant il y a des liens entre eux.

L’arrière-plan forme un paysage montagneux avec un ciel bleu. Au centre de l’image se trouvent trois murs de briques qui convergent. En bas à gauche au milieu un chemin et un espace vert. Dans le prolongement du mur de briques droit se trouvent deux stèles arrondies. Entre la pelouse et le mur de briques à droite, une rue descend à droite. A gauche de la route se trouve la pelouse susmentionnée, puis un mur d’enceinte avec une porte de ville ; un “J” à l’extrémité gauche. Ci-dessous, à partir de la gauche, un bol de stylo avec une pointe d’où coule de l’encre sur le fond vert. À droite se trouve un livre avec des pages blanches et un sablier dessus. Au milieu dans une couronne de feu, le schéma d’un visage.

Le “J” a un lien avec la muraille de la ville et la porte… “J” pour “Yahweh” ou “Jérusalem” dont on peut voir la muraille de la vieille ville avec la “Golden Gate”. Selon la croyance juive, la “Porte Dorée” sera ouverte lorsque le Messie arrivera dans la “Ville Sainte”….le temps presse…écrit à la plume et à l’encre dans le
“L’Ancien Testament”. Le mur de briques aux deux stèles arrondies se retrouve dans “L’Adoration des Mages” dans un simple lieu de l’histoire universelle. Dans le “Coran”, il est écrit que le Prophète est venu à Jérusalem lors d’un voyage de nuit sur le dos de son cheval “Burak”.

Tout ce qui est créé par des mains humaines est périssable ; ce qui était autrefois glorieux est maintenant une ruine… nous marchons tous sur une route que nous appelons la vie ; la route est vide, nous ne savons pas ce que nous allons rencontrer… en haut de la route, en bas… notre temps sur cette planète est enregistré dans le livre de la vie.

Review of the picture “World Events”

A painting made up of different elements that seem to have nothing to do with each other and yet there are connections between them.

The background forms a mountainous landscape with a blue sky. In the center of the picture are three brick walls that converge. Below left to the middle a path and green space. Extending from the right brick wall are two rounded steles. Between the lawn and the brick wall on the right, a street runs down to the right. To the left of the road is the aforementioned lawn, then a city wall with a city gate; a “J” at the left end. Below, from the left, a pen bowl with a nib from which ink flows onto the green background. To the right is a book with white pages and an hourglass on it. In the middle in a wreath of fire, the scheme of a face.

The “J” has a connection with the city wall and the gate… “J” for “Jahweh” or “Jerusalem” whose wall of the old city with “Golden Gate” can be seen. According to Jewish belief, the “Golden Gate” will be opened when the Messiah arrives in the “Holy City”….time is running out…written with pen and ink in the „Old Testament“. The brick wall with the two rounded steles is found again in “The Adoration of the Magi” in a simple place in world history. It is written in the „Koran“ that the Prophet came to Jerusalem in a night journey on the back of his horse “Burak”.

Everything created by human hands is perishable; what was once glorious is now a ruin… we all walk a road we call life; the road is empty, we don’t know what we are going to encounter… up the road, down it… our time on this planet is recorded in the book of life.
